I Escaped My Racist Parents Storytime

I had to flee my home to marry the man I love. My family hated him because he is not black and doesn’t have a degree. I was abused badly living under their roof throughout my life, but it intensified once I married outside of my race. I wrote my book “Colorful Love Life by Ginger R.” to discuss the traumatizing childhood, adolescence, and adulthood that I’ve had at the hands of my parents and others. I also discuss how I overcame these obstacles through my courage and the love and support of my husband.
